Software Project Proposal
A. Identification- Grocery Shopping Made Easy
B. Overview- The software purpose is to allow people to create a grocery list online and send to their favorite grocery store. After picking the store, a total will appear for the grocery allowing them to pay for the groceries and print or email a receipt. The receipt can then be taking to the store for retrieval of items.
C. Prospective Users-The software will be useful to anyone who doesn’t have time to grocery shop whether it be single moms, elderly, suddenly feel ill, or just anyone who hates shopping.
D. User Input- Users will need to input basic information such as contact information and payment information.
E. User Output- The software will output a total and a receipt to the users.
F. Setup Data- Available grocery stores, a host of grocery items, data for user accounts, and payment data.
G. Persistent Data- User account information and last grocery list will be the only persistent data.
H. Processing- There will need to be an algorithm for the shopping cart, selected store total, and receipt.
